Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the best age to take photos of my newborn baby?

The best age to take newborn photos is at 8 to 15 days of age due babies being less active and more able to relax and sleep through photoshoot at that stage of infancy. This helps to ensure a smoother photoshoot therefore allowing the photographer to capture more of your baby(s) precious moments.

Shall I bring anything with me to my baby(s) photoshoot?

Although we have everything you’ll need for the photoshoot, we welcome you to bring any additional props or meaningful items you’d like to incorporate into it. We have limited space in the photography studio, so we ask any items you’ll be bringing be smaller in size.

Can I bring any additional persons with me?

Absolutely, but since there is limited space and seating in the studio, we have a limit of 3 individuals aside from the newborn(s) to be in the studio throughout the photo shoot.

Is there anything I can do prior to our arrival to help along my baby(s) for the photoshoot?

Yes, it is best that the baby brought to the session hungry and ready for a nap, so that you may first nurse or feed the baby upon arrival so that the baby(s) is comfortable and sleepy throughout the photoshoot. This way the baby(s) will be easier to position and photograph.

What time shall I arrive for the photoshoot?

You’ll want to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time as there will be some forms to be completed and to also allow a little extra time to nurse or feed your baby(s).

How long will it be before my photos are ready?

2-3 weeks from the scheduled appointment date.
